oh wow! 2years.
i just have to say that i feel honored to apart of an awesome site! some of the best people i could ever know are here. i am so happy that i am apart of the hardstar family!
The girls here welcomed me with open arms and i just wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you.
i never would of thought that i would friends that are so kind and generous . Each and everyone of you girls will always have a special place in my heart 
i found this poem and describes it best

That was absolutely lovely Amanda. I must say, we are absolutely thrilled to have you aboard too - you have contributed so much of yourself, just being who you are, plus the fantastic artwork, videos etc you create!
When I say 'we' I mean 'WE', all of us, Hardstar-INXS is not just Jel, not just the mods, Hardstar-INXS is every single member here.
That being said - we wouldn't BE here if it weren't for Jel. Linda honey - THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, for creating this site, for taking me on as a Mod two years ago, for being the kind of person you are. I know how humble you are and you will say it's all of us who make the site, as I said above, but you are after all, the ARCH ANGEL here. Your lovely self is why this is such a friendly, happy site! Thank you for being such a wonderful friend, most importantly. I feel so 'blessed' that we have become friends, and I feel that it is a lifetime deal.
I have to also thank Allison, as I wouldn't be here without her, either. Alli and I met at a different site 2 1/2 years ago, and in person in July 2005. Alli had started a JD fan site on Yahoo I believe it was, and closed it up to come aboard and help Jel - I believe - who she met I think at Rockband? Correct me if I am wrong... at any rate, I moved here with Allison, I brought Christa along who we had also met at another board and in person - and VOILA!
Oh - and obviously - THANK YOU INXS, esp JD, for just being!
I have some memories I would like to share, and I will do so as time allows throughout the day.

OK - if you go to the Jukebox, you will hear a clip of our Biz (Lisa) on the radio at BOB FM in Winnipeg, requesting INXS. I sent her the link because the station played a fair amount of INXS and obviously wanted her to hear - well - I ended up e-mailing the DJ (Kelly Parker) and told him my friend from Virginia was listening, he thought that was great and asked me to ask her to call - so she did. OMG what a RIOT! I recorded it and well, Linda popped it into the jukebox!
We were all EXCITED all afternoon - LOL!!!

Ah another one - way way back in an early Daily Chat, Alli and I thought it would be fun to mess with the censored words list - Toni, Biz, Suzy, Annie and Pina were unable to do that yet, so when you typed a 'bad word' something unexpected would pop up - something like...
use your imagination for what that referred to...LMAO!

Two years?? Holy, let me tell you. Two years ago(well, it was 23 months ago actually that I found this site) I was a lurker. Too shy to say hi. LMAO yep, ME  a BIG TIME lurker! Just the thought of coming to any of the threads to say anything had me breaking out into a sweat!
and I lurked for 8 months!But after moving away from home, and to a small town, I came out of lurking when I was desperate for someone to help me save my sanity!
And y'all welcomed me with such open arms, omg, I will never forget how great y'all were. How patient! After all, it took me weeks to even SEE the QUOTE button!!! LOL
And you've let me babble away. Day after day after day.......LOL No one critizes, or judges. Its all open arms and minds and hearts.
A few months into being here, I met some of you, and still, I was too shy to say much. Too nervous to be me
A year later, after all the hours and hours we have spent together, really getting to know each other. Laughing our a s s e s off! Being there for one another, sharing, sharing, sharing! I met some of you again and didnt have a care in the world! In fact, you couldnt shut me up!
It was the best time ever!
Ive made friends here who I know Ill have forever. Friends who I know I will be able to count on, even if we drift apart a bit. Friends who will be there for me always. I treasure that more then words can say.
But it is the change in me that I will be forever grateful to you for. Y'all have loved me no matter what. Accepted me just as I am. And for the first time in my life, I can now meet people and not worry about it. I am me, without a care in the world about what people think of me, or if I said something the wrong way, or.................. 
You've made me a better person with your kindness and generosity, and faith in others.
You've brought laughter back into my heart and my home.

geesh, GF, I dont even know where to begin! You made HS a home for us all. Share the love and pay it forward, its what kept me here and gave me the courage to say hi. You've worked so hard at keeping this home for us, and we all know it and love you for it. What youve done for us here has changed so many of us forever. And I know you dont want a big fuss, but GF, you have it always anyway. THANK YOU!
and to INXS
for bringing music back into my heart, and my home, and leading me here to my Sistahs

Ok another daily I recall fondly was a day where I was trying to teach Toni, Annie and Biz I think, how to make your text larger, change the colour, make it glow, make it marquee... well. The tag attributes didn't work as they were supposed to in 'conforums' back then, and we just had a riot!
By the way - if you didn't know, they work now.
Type your text, left click highlight your text, and click on a button above to change its attributes(try glow, the G with a green circle behind it), or Marquee, (the M with the left arrow).
(glow and larger font size 4)
You can change the numbers and colours in some of the tags, like, the default font size is 2, try 6. Try changing the glow colour, just change the colour after glow=.

Hey everyone! Happy anniversary to H-I!!!
I know I've been MIA for quite some time, but I still talk to Jelika, TeAg, Biz, Adoll, Toni, and Suzy every single day.
Having the new baby in my life doesn't give me much time to play online, but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about this site, and all the good times I've had here. Not to mention the life-long friends I've made.
Thank you so much Jelika, for everything. I love you so much.

Happy 2 years HARDSTAR-INXS
Carol told me to bring my tissues with me when I came to read what some of you wrote..TY Carol!!
I can't believe its been 2 years already..the memories are endless..I will admit I was a lurker here to for almost a month..I came everyday to get my fix of INXS...but not until I sent Carol a ton of emails did I find the confidence to come out of Lurkdom...Everyone was so friendly and helpful...and the laughter was endless and still is after 2 years...
I was a part of a small night time group called the
'Cheese cakers'...yep we all loved cheesecake (we took turns licking it off of JD's belly) LMAO!! Back then I mean just a handful were chatting at night...
The site has grown soooo much...and each and every new member that I meet is just so nice and friendly...
We have a wonderful home here at HARDSTAR..and even tho Linda doesn't like to be the center of attention on this day Linda I'm sorry it has to be!!
Without you we wouldn't have Hardstar-INXS...we wouldn't have found such wonderful friendships...lifetime friendships...
Let alone feeling so lost after RSINXS...I was like what am I going to do now? I so needed to feed my addition..and what perfect place to do just that...You can feed it here 24/7 if that's what you fancy!
So once again I want to Thank You Linda for creating this awesome site...and working so hard to make it what it is today...Your very dear to me and I love you bunches!!
Of course thank you JD Fortune for bringing INXS back into our lives...As corny as this may sound
'YOU were riot for our band' I love your music...and of course I love your drummer...lol I'll be rocking out to INXS music when I'm in my 90s...
I love all you Sistah's....

P.S. I'd like to add not only are all of you sistah's just the best bunch of girlies...being a mod here and working along side the other mods has become something very dear to me...each and every one of you mods are such SPECIAL LADIES...and of course you all know how much I love you...
