How to - Images in avatars and sig's

OK Sexy people. How to insert images into an avatar and signature in your profiles.
1-I strongly suggest you go to www.photobucket.com and open an account. It's FREE, and makes it so easy to get your pics out there!
2-To save the avatars and banners you want, right click over them and select SAVE PICTURE AS. The Windows 'Save Picture' window will open.
By default, your 'My Pictures' folder will open, or you can specify another directory. Remember where you saved them.
3-Go to Photobucket and login. The Add Pictures page will open:
4-Click the BROWSE button and go to the directory you saved your picture in. Click OPEN, then hit the SUBMIT button.
5-If you scroll down a bit you should see a thumbnail of your picture. If you want to use the picture as your avatar (the image that appears in the left hand column under your name in the forum), you are going to want to copy the code in the middle option, the 'Tag'. Do so.
6-Go to your Profile here (link at top just below the Hardstar pic). Type in your password and scroll down to the area that starts with 'Personal Text'. You want to Select the 'I have my own pic' checkbox then PASTE the TAG (http:// etcetera) into the box.
7-Scroll down and click the 'Change Profile' button.
That's IT!

To put a picture in your signature, the text or pictures you see at the bottom of members posts, you essentially repeat the process above with the following exception:
-You will be copying the Img: (the third) line not the Tag: (the second) line once your image is in your photobucket album.
You will be pasting that line into your profile lower down, in the 'Signtaure' section.

teag could you help me make a banner out off that pic i tryed to edit it to write on it and make it shorter and longer but wasn`t sure what i was doing.

Thanks a lot for your help, really appreciate it. Don't have time to try it right now but I will. Thanks again. So funny i have an avatar showing even tho i didn't add it hmmmm LOL maybe its a default one hmmmm

Hi TeAg,
I tried your directions for making the avatar. It wasn't the one that was supposed to go there but it popped in and I'm keeping it! I was trying to do something original, but I am so happy to have a pic of
JD instead of that cartoon chick.  Thanks for the help.
